Research Fellow in Health Economics
Salary from £53,949 to £62,160 pa inclusive with potential to progress to £69,073 inclusive of London allowance and the salary scale can be found on the LSE website.
This is a fixed term appointment until 31 October 2027.
LSE Health is seeking to appoint a full-time Research Fellow to contribute to a collaborative research project between the London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE) and University College London (UCL). The project focuses on pharmaceutical policy and economics, with a particular emphasis on cardiovascular medicine in the UK.
The post-holder will join the Pharmaceutical Policy Lab and work within a dynamic, supportive, and stimulating research environment. This is an excellent opportunity to be part of an interdisciplinary and international research collaboration, spanning health policy, economics, medicine, and public health.
Candidates should have a PhD (or extensive research experience) in a relevant quantitative discipline (e.g., health economics or a closely related discipline). They will have experience in using statistical or econometric methods for analysis of routinely collected healthcare data. They will have experience in designing and implementing economic evaluation models, including decision-analytic modelling, and good knowledge of pharmaceutical policy and economics.
