Job description: Execute synthetic routes independently, ensuring safety, efficiency, and sustainability. Design and optimise synthetic pathways using scientific expertise and digital tools. Conduct risk assessments of experiments and materials. Accurately document and communicate experimental work to ensure reproducibility and data integrity. Troubleshoot and resolve synthetic chemistry challenges within project teams. Stay up to date with modern synthetic methods and emerging technologies. Contribute to the continuous improvement of laboratory practices, safety, and productivity. About the customer: On behalf of our client, a leading agritech organization, we are seeking a Research Scientist to support innovative research and development activities. In this role, you will contribute to advancing projects from discovery through to development by delivering target molecules in a safe, efficient, and sustainable manner. Requirements: Master's degree in Synthetic Chemistry, or 3-5 years of relevant industry experience. Strong knowledge of synthetic organic chemistry. Proficiency with software tools for synthesis planning and data analysis. Fluency in English; additional languages are an advantage.
