Research Associate: Nuclear Glass Development & Durability

Diversity Dashboard is seeking a research scientist in Sheffield to work with the UK National Nuclear Laboratory on fabricating uranium-containing glass. The successful candidate will characterise the chemical and physical properties of the glass, including viscosity and durability.

Applicants should have a PhD or be close to completion in a related field, possess strong laboratory skills, and communicate effectively with industry partners. The position is full-time for a duration of 9 months, with a salary range of £38,784 - £41,064 per annum.
