Research Associate: AlGaN Defect Physics for UVC LEDs

The University of Manchester invites applications for a Research Associate to join our team researching electrical and optical characterisation of defects in high aluminium content AlGaN, aiming to increase the efficiency of UVC light emitting diodes.

You will perform DLTS and photoluminescence measurements, analyse data, contribute to journal papers, present at conferences in the UK and abroad, and travel to the Tyndall Institute in Cork for collaboration meetings.
