In addition, you will support the preparation and delivery of presentations for internal and external audiences, including academic and industry partners. This position offers an excellent opportunity to gain hands on research experience and contribute to meaningful projects that advance knowledge and innovation in the field of civil engineering.
You will have a master or PhD degree in Civil Engineering in the field of Environmental Engineering, Hydraulics or Water Resources. Experience conducting laboratory and/or field based research; strong analytical and problem solving skills, with attention to detail and data quality.
This is a 9 month fixed term part time position, and available from 15 January 2026. Informal inquiries are welcome to Dr Mawada Abdellatif via email:
In return, we offer an excellent benefits package including generous annual leave entitlement, pension scheme, induction and development support as well as family friendly policies.
This is an exciting time to join the university as we deliver the LJMU Strategy 2030 and its vision of LJMU as an inclusive civic university transforming lives and futures, by placing students at the heart of everything we do.
If you feel that this is the role you have been looking for and your skills and experience can make a real difference at LJMU, we look forward to hearing from you.
