Research Assistant
We are searching for an experienced Research Assistant.
Overall purpose:This is a fantastic opportunity to gain experience in a valued Information and Knowledge Service within a national professional services firm. The candidate will undertake a variety of research tasks within a team of highly experienced information professionals, with opportunities to specialise in an industry.
This post is aimed at graduates, or those due to graduate in 2025, and who are planning to apply to study for a postgraduate course in Research and Information Management; or who are interested in a career as an information professional in a corporate environment.
The post offers hybrid working (a mixture of office and home-based).
Key Responsibilities:- Responding to information and research requests from all offices and service lines, covering a wide variety of topics such as property research, market and financial data, property history, legal research, industry and sector coverage, etc.
- Providing current awareness updates.
- Conducting project research independently and as part of a team.
- Good degree in any discipline.
- Ability to work with minimal supervision on routine tasks.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience using AI tools, such as Co-Pilot.
- Proficiency with general computer applications and Microsoft Office tools.
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to meet deadlines.
- A positive attitude towards work, with motivation to learn new skills.
- Attention to detail.
- Resilient, flexible, enthusiastic, confident, and proactive.
