Repro Operator - Bedfordshire - £Competitive Salary

Overview

We have a great opportunity for someone who is passionate about print to join an established and progressive business. Our client is looking for a talented, detail oriented Repro Operator to ensure all deliverables print according to the brief supplied and brand consistencies are adhered to.

Responsibilities

• Check that the digital artwork or proofs print and are completed to the brief supplied.
• Provide timely feedback of errors to the production team.
• Use the internal MIS system in accordance with standardised work procedures to maintain an accurate permanent asset database.
• Monitor and record QC errors on all jobs using the appropriate systems.
• Adhere to all reporting processes set up within the department.
• Provide input into the development of QC processes based on client needs.

Qualifications and Experience

• Sound working knowledge of Adobe Illustrator.
• Thorough knowledge of repro/pre press processes for the printing industry.
• Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to multi task and work in a fast paced environment.
• Detail orientation and strong drive.
• UK residence required, with recent work experience in the print, packaging or paper sectors.
