Job Description

Purpose To manage access to different customers in line with trading regulations & legislation, predominantly the Windsor Framework. Ensuring our customs declarations are accurate and any emerging risks and range restrictions are communicated effectively to internal & external stakeholders. Reports to Commercial Support manager Line Manager of N/A Contribution
  • Responsible for daily monitoring of customs data changes and new items available to range, amending product set up accordingly
  • Regular auditing of range set up, ensuring access and associated customs data are accurate
  • Process Wholesale New Line Forms through to Customs Team systems for classification, and feeding through customs changes required for Wholesale Difference products
  • Work closely with the Customs team to prioritise classification of key lines for the Wholesale business
  • Communication of range restrictions to relevant internal & external stakeholders, and upcoming risks to range
  • Attend regulatory working groups to understand the impact to Wholesale and to implement appropriate systematic / process changes, ensuring you have thorough understanding of the regulation and the impacts of non-compliance
  • Attend the Wholesale Business Assurance Forum to highlight any upcoming regulatory changes that pose a risk to our range and promotional strategies such as HFSS
  • Support in route to market change discussions to minimise range disruption
  • Build relationships with stakeholders across Coop Supply Chain, Wholesale Supply Chain, Commercial & Sales
  • Make declarations of non-compliance to the Customs Manager to support in maintaining a trusted relationship with DAERA, implementing improvements to mitigate future risk
  • Support Wholesale Difference suppliers with enquiries around providing customs data for new products
  • Carry out any other duties that may reasonably be required in line with the main duties of the role

  • Represent the Wholesale business in Regulatory Project Working groups to advocate for any budget assigned to incorporate solutions for Wholesale processes and systems

  • Proficiency in using the Wholesale RMS system and Cognos
  • Intermediate Microsoft Excel Skills
