Are you looking to break out of a niche and work for a company where you can investigate a breadth of innovative industries and emerging geographies?

This is an opportunity to join a global publisher, partnered with a mainstream news organisation like Washington Post and Newsweek, who serialise their work. You will pitch investigative projects and arrange interviews with business and political leaders to discover trends and undercurrents across eclectic sectors.

This position would suit a journalist who is familiar with addressing a niche industry with experience interviewing senior executives and policy makers. You will have the opportunity to travel to industry events to develop your knowledge and network. Alongside your editorial responsibilities, you will collaborate with the sales and operations team to ensure that each report is a success.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Ideation: Pitching project concepts to the management team
  • Delivery: Arranging, interviewing, and transcribing interviews with business and political leaders
  • Writing introductions and synopsis that establish your narrative
  • Working with commercial and operations teams to ensure that the project is delivered successfully

Key requirements include:

  • Experience as a business reporter for an English-speaking audience
  • First-class writing, communication, and presentation skills
  • Based in North America or Europe, with the right to work without sponsorship
