Relief Security Officer

ASEL is a leading provider of bespoke security solutions, integrating people, technology and processes to deliver risk reduction outcomes. The role of Retail Security Officer focuses on deterring criminal activity, responding to incidents, and collaborating with local authorities and management.
Main ResponsibilitiesAs a Retail Security Officer you will:
- Patrol the shop floor and deter criminal activity
- Assess and identify vulnerabilities, and work proactively to minimise risk
- Liaise with management and local authorities when applicable
- Manage vulnerable persons with empathy to avoid distress
- Complete colleague and contractor searches in line with company policy
- Digitally report incidents and use tablets/phones for daily activity planning
- Provide detailed and legible incident reporting to assist the client and local authorities

Hourly RateSite dependent, between £12.71- £15.00 per hour
Required Experience and QualificationValid SIA licence is mandatory. Previous retail security experience is advantageous but not essential; full training will be provided.
Applicants must provide a full 5 year checkable work or education history. Bring proof of right to work and a recent proof of address if selected for interview.
