Relief Pharmacist - Wexford

Locations: McCauley Pharmacy New Ross, McCauley Pharmacy Northgate, McCauley Pharmacy North Main Street, McCauley Pharmacy Enniscorthy.

Job type: Full time.

We are currently recruiting a Relief Pharmacist for our stores across Wexford. This role is a permanent full-time position covering a range of stores throughout the counties. Through this opportunity, you will gain great insight into the brands under Uniphar. Within our Relief rosters, we try to establish a regular order of stores you will support, so that you can best get to know the teams and customers in each location. All relief rosters are provided 6 to 8 weeks in advance.

Responsibilities
  • Assist the Supervising Pharmacist in meeting operational standards and implementing company initiatives
  • Work with the team to find care solutions for our customers and patients
  • Assist in the professional, clinical, ethical and financial running of the pharmacy in line with company and industry regulations
  • Assist in group healthcare and company/marketing events
  • Communicate with the team on business performance and new initiatives
  • Participate in staff training events and encourage and support the development of the team
  • Report to the Pharmacist Regional Manager on store and employee performance
Qualifications and Requirements
  • Member of the Pharmaceutical Society of Ireland
  • Previous experience in Irish community pharmacy is an advantage but full training will be given to those coming from other backgrounds
  • Proven people management
  • Enthusiastic, self motivated with excellent people skills, confidence and demonstrable clinical knowledge
  • Excellent communication skills and be acutely aware of customer needs while also being commercially astute
  • Key focus on patients and customers ensuring exemplary face to face interactions
