Key Responsibilities
  • Provide practical and emotional support to adults with a wide range of needs, on a 1:1 basis or within a team, with a focus on helping individuals achieve personal outcomes in daily living (safety, meaningful activities, community involvement, physical and emotional health).
  • Work as part of a multidisciplinary team to deliver a range of interventions in 1:1 and group settings, within a Recovery Orientated System of Care (ROSC).
  • Contribute to person-centred planning by involving the person, their family and friends, other health and social care professionals, advocacy services and staff.
  • Support service users to gain stability and make progress toward health, social and emotional goals.
What we offer and how we work

Turn ing Point Scotland's Glasgow Alcohol & Drug Crisis Service provides integrated health and social care with low threshold, direct access services for people in crisis due to alcohol or other drug use, including those experiencing homelessness. Services include a crisis residential unit, needle exchange, wound care, harm reduction advice, signposting and naloxone training and provision.

Our services aim to provide a 4 to 6 week residential experience for individuals who need a higher level of support within a ROSC framework.

Requirements and Qualifications
  • As a Relief Nurse (Experienced), you will work with individuals who have diverse support needs, providing practical and emotional support and encouraging achievement of personal outcomes across daily life areas.
  • We value lived experience and welcome applicants who are eligible to work in the United Kingdom. We do not sponsor visas.
  • IT skills are required for all vacancies.
