How you'll make an impact:

As a Relief Chef Manager you will proactively manage teams on site and be accountable for recruiting, inducting, training and supporting colleagues to deliver an efficient, high quality service to Elior UK, our customer and clients. You will travel across our batch sites supporting kitchens that benefit an hands on Chef Manager to lead from the front.

• Provide cover across multiple locations, managing the full catering operation
• Lead, motivate and support kitchen teams to deliver excellent service
• Plan, prepare and oversee the delivery of meals in line with company standards
• Manage stock, ordering and budgets to meet operational requirements
• Ensure full compliance with food hygiene, health & safety and company policies

The ingredients you'll bring:

• Proven experience in a Chef Manager or senior catering role
• Flexibility to travel and adapt quickly to different sites and teams
• Strong leadership and people management skills
• Excellent organisational and time management abilities
• Sound knowledge of food hygiene, safety and compliance standards
• A proactive, hands on approach with the ability to hit the ground running
• Previous experience within school catering essential
• Awareness of medical diets in the school sector
