Regulatory Compliance Manager

Arthur is working with a leading global insurer to add a Regulatory Compliance Manager to support the Senior Compliance Manager.
This role offers excellent international exposure across the business unit's global entities.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and support regulatory interactions in the UK, particularly with PRA, FCA, and Lloyd's, ensuring timely, accurate, and complete responses and reports.
• Coordinate regulatory interactions across the region, following protocols for engagement, escalation, and reporting, and maintain records of these interactions.
• Work effectively with key stakeholders within the EMEA business and contacts at regulators.
• Manage regulatory requests and coordinate responses, including data calls, surveys, and onsite examinations.
• Monitor regulatory meetings and communications, track actions, and escalate issues when necessary.
• Manage EMEA's licences and passporting notices to facilitate trading in the UK, EEA, and overseas.
• Support regulatory engagement through summaries, briefings, minute-taking, and tracking action items.
• Ensure regulatory notifications are submitted to meet reporting obligations.

Experience

Candidates should have experience in the insurance or financial services industry or another highly regulated sector. Familiarity with the European regulatory environment, especially in insurance or financial services, and regulator management experience is preferred.

Ideal candidates are self-starters with excellent time management and organizational skills, capable of managing competing priorities. Strong interpersonal skills and experience communicating complex financial, risk, compliance, and regulatory issues to stakeholders verbally and in writing are essential.
