Are you passionate about providing excellent customer service and ensuring vital records are accurate? If so, we invite you to join our Registration Service team as a Registration Officer.

What You'll Be Doing:

• Working on our busy ceremony programme, registering or conducting statutory ceremonies at our registration offices or at external approved venues, or sometimes in religious buildings within Lancashire.

Our Ideal Applicant Will:

• Have excellent customer service skills, putting the customer at the heart of every conversation.
• Be organised and have good time management when completing tasks.
• Possess strong digital skills to create and maintain accurate records promptly.
• Be a confident communicator, able to deal with a wide range of customers; able to remain personable while asking technical questions and operating within a stringent legal framework.

Annualised Hours:

These roles are annualised contracts, working your hours over the calendar year. Hours vary each week depending on demand. The annual salary will be pro rata. Work patterns are agreed in advance per service needs; you may be required to work outside the standard pattern. Availability is asked 2 months in advance for rota planning.
