Registered Veterinary nurse for lovely Independent team -night role 7/14 Norfolk

My lovely independent client in Norfolk is seeking a compassionate and enthusiastic Registered Veterinary Nurse (RVN) to join its dedicated night team.

The successful candidate will work night shifts from 6:30 pm to 8:30 am, providing out of hours care exclusively for the practice's own clients. The role focuses on delivering high standard inpatient care while also assisting with any medical or surgical emergencies that occur overnight. Night nurses are considered an essential and valued part of the team, so we look for someone who is approachable, supportive, and confident working independently while still contributing positively to the wider team environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver high quality inpatient care during night shifts.
• Assist with medical or surgical emergencies that arise overnight.
• Use initiative in quieter periods and work independently while maintaining communication with the team.
• Support the practice's own clients with compassion and professionalism.

Qualifications & Experience

• Registered Veterinary Nurse (RVN).
• Experience with small animal nursing; experience with exotic species is beneficial but not essential.
• Ability to work independently, make confident decisions, and contribute to a collaborative workplace culture.
• Willingness to develop skills in emergency and exotic nursing with training and support provided.
