Muswell Hill Medivet has an excellent opportunity for an RVN to join their team!

Our purpose-built Muswell Hill practice is a cat friendly clinic with a loyal client base and a varied caseload. You will be part of a close knit, experienced team of vets, nurses, and reception staff who work collaboratively to provide personalised, high quality care. Nurses here are encouraged to work to their full potential, leading on patient care, running nurse consults, and actively contributing to clinical decision making.

The practice is well-equipped with digital x ray, ultrasound, dental facilities, and an in house laboratory. As part of the Medivet network, you will also benefit from access to advanced diagnostic and surgical services at our nearby 24 hour hospitals, as well as opportunities for career development.

This is a full time position for a dedicated and proactive RVN who enjoys delivering exceptional patient and client care, working as part of a supportive team, and contributing to the continued success of the practice. A minimum of 2 years qualified RVN experience is an advantage.

Role Accountabilities
  • Consistently deliver exceptional care to your clients
  • Support with surgeries and procedures, completing all pre and post procedure activity
  • Carry out nurse led appointments and schedule 3 activities
  • Deliver patient monitoring and care
  • Manage admissions and discharges as directed by the Veterinary team
  • Complete patient transfers to out of hours or enhanced care
  • Dispense and check medication
  • Deliver professional excellence, complying with all regulatory, practice and operational standards
  • Hold briefings to engage and co ordinate your team to support the most effective running of the practice
Your Skills and Experience
  • RCSV registered Veterinary Nurse
  • Experience of delivering exceptional patient and client care
  • Experience working effectively as part of a team
  • Experience supporting Nurse consults, with an understanding of how this contributes to practice performance and efficiency
  • Experience using coaching and influencing skills to get the best out of every colleague
