Job Description
Our established and friendly practices in Abingdon and Oxford Botley Road are looking for an enthusiastic and professional RVN to join their multi-site team! You will have the opportunity to spend time at both practices, splitting your time between both sites.
You will be joining a team of 8 Vet Surgeons, 3 Registered Veterinary Nurses, 1 Student Nurse and 2 VCA's, 3 Receptionists, 1 Administrator, 1 Head Receptionist, 1 Assistant Practice Manager and 1 Practice Manager who work closely together to provide a supportive environment for patients, clients, and colleagues alike.
Our Practice Owners include Daniel Preece BSC (Hons) BVetMed (Hons) MRCVS, with a post graduate BSAVA in small animal internal medicine - clinical interest in intensive care, acute medicine and soft tissue surgery.
The practice is extremely well equipped with state-of-the-art equipment providing advanced orthopaedic and keyhole surgery. The team also see a wide variety of cases and have a growing number of insured clients allowing cases to be thoroughly investigated and worked up to a high standard.
The ideal candidate will be caring, resilient, have great attention to detail and have excellent communication skills. A strong level of general nursing is required and above all else, you will be passionate and dedicated to providing an outstanding service for our clients and their pets.

- Preparing animals for surgery and supporting in surgery
- Administration of drugs, anaesthetic, and injections
- Nurse clinics
- X-rays
- Inpatient care
- Cleaning
