Job Description
We are a close-knit team led by our Practice Owner and Practice Manager, Eric and Gail. As well as providing an excellent standard of care to our patients we pride ourselves on creating a really friendly practice atmosphere and want our team to enjoy the time they spend at work. We are looking for an RVN comfortable with all aspects of nursing in general practice.
We are a busy forward-thinking practice offering lots of opportunities to learn and advance your skills.
Some of your key responsibilities will include:
Our ideal candidate will offer the highest standards of clinical and client care, empathy and be willing to provide valuable peer support to their team including our student veterinary nurses, preferably having clinical coach experience or willing to train.
You will be committed, enthusiastic, hard-working with a good sense of humour and happy to put our clients first.
A typical candidate should have:
Clinical Coach certificate an advantage
We are looking for someone who is able to work 30-35 hours/week over 4-5 days but willing and able to flex to cover up to 40 hours per week when required. This will include 1:4 Saturday mornings.
We are open 08:30-19:00 Monday - Friday, 09:00-12:00 Saturday morning with no out of hours, no Bank holidays.
We have a varied caseload with a generous rota to ensure a good work/life balance. You will be rewarded with a competitive salary between £26,000 to £31,000 FTE, dependant on experience and length of qualification, supported CPD and other additional company benefits.

- To work as an active member of the clinical support team
- To take part in the full nursing rota including duties such as consulting, anaesthetics, recovery, inpatient care, stock control and general cleaning/housekeeping.
- Working closely with the vets and client care team provide an excellent service to clients and the highest standards of patient care
