The role holder willprovideeffective management and coordination to a range of managers and staff, deploying resources effectivelyin order tomeet demand and ensuring the provision ofappropriate servicesto ensure customers are supported in a way that promotes and maximises their independence.
Thepost holderwillalsobe requiredtoregister with theCQC.The post holder will be accountable for delegated budgets and budget holders, ensuring that expenditure is within budgetary targets and all financial responsibilities are dischargedin accordance withfinancial regulations.
The role holder will work collaboratively witha range of key stakeholders to consistently embedReablementpractices across the city, ensuring aholistic approachtoremove blockages, resolve issues andensuretheCouncil's dutiesregardinghospital discharges are met effectively and efficiently.
The role holder will lead on the operationalperformance to ensure managers are maximizing efficiency, customer outcomes are positive and performance indicators are met in theirdistrict,ensuring theteam deliver ahigh qualityservice which meets customer demands and improves outcomes.
Therole holder willrepresentreablement services and the department in servicedevelopment with other key stakeholders including Health, theIndependentsector and other City Council Departments.

About the Candidate
The post holder will be proficient with all aspects of management andas Reablement is a CQC regulated service the post holder will have a knowledge of reablement servicesand have excellent time management and knowledge of safe system of work.
The post holder will support the management of service demand andcapacitythrough the collection,analysisand reporting of key performance indicators. Ensure the maintenance ofaccurateandappropriate recordsmanually and electronically to achieve service performance and efficiency, enabling the service to develop and report achievements against local and national performance target.
The post holder willbe requiredto work closely with Reablement colleagues and within other service areas toidentifysafeguarding and mentalcapacityissues and refer asappropriate,assistingin investigations of allegations of any form of abuse to vulnerable adults.
The post holder will have experienceof working in a Social Care or Health Care Setting with an understanding of relevant Social Care legislation.

- Qualification/Registration - Hold or willing to undertake and achieve NVQ Level 5 in Health and Social Care within six months of commencing in postand must also hold registration with CQC.
- Medical Clearance - Pre-placement health assessment (PPHA)
- Driving Licence - you must always hold a full valid driving licence
- Essential Car Documentation - This post is a designated Essential Car User. Therefore, you must always hold a full valid driving licence and provide your own car for use at work. You will receive the Essential Car User Allowance.
- DBS (Disclosure and Barring Service) clearance - this post is covered by the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974 (Exceptions) Order 1975 (amended in 2013). Appointable candidates will be required to apply for an Enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check.
