Registered Nurse - Community and Hospice Line

We're looking for two calm, compassionate registered nurses with excellent communication skills to join our community nursing and hospice line team - a collaborative telephone support service for people approaching the end of life and their families.
Main duties of the job- Emotional support for anxious or distressed families
- Coordinating community responses
- Recording changes in condition
- Taking calls when a death has occurred
- Visiting a patient in their own home, carrying out initial assessments and follow up reviews
For Hospices Line - an innovative collaboration between St Wilfrids and St Michaels hospices - you will use strong listening skills, structured questioning and clear documentation to ensure callers receive safe, compassionate support.
