Job Description
Job Title: Registered Manager Location: Bradford, BD3 Salary: £42,000 to £60,000 Working hours: Monday to Friday 9 to 5 with some on call duties. Service: Children's Home, Secure. Overseeing a 6 Bed Home Service Users: Mental Health, age 7 to 17 on Admission Qualifications Required: Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare or Equivalent This role would suit a: Deputy Manager looking to progress or a, Registered Manager looking to move on. All candidates must have 2 years of children's residential (Ofsted Registered) experience within the last 5 years. About you

Leading and managing the home in a way that delivers the ethos, outcomes and approach set out in the home's Statement of Purpose. You will also play a role in shaping the ethos of the home by developing a culture of high aspiration for children which is demonstrated through the care, resources and opportunities offered to the children.

You should support the Adult team to be ambitious for the YP in the home and to gain skills and experience that enable them to actively support each child to achieve their potential. To ensure that staff understand and can meet each child's needs, in line with their responsibilities, you will need to have a good level of understanding of the needs of the children in their care.

The company is an independent organisation registered with CQC and Ofsted specialises in providing specialist residential placements for young people and young adults with mental health difficulties. They also offer intensive, individualised community care with 24-hour mental health crisis management.

The organisation has identified a significant number of young people and young adults facing complex mental health difficulties who are either considered unsuitable for inpatient hospital settings, experience recurrent hospital admissions, or face delayed discharges due to inadequate or delayed access to mental health services in the community.

Their services encompass specialist therapeutic placements supported by an in-house multi-disciplinary mental health team. They prioritise holistic care within the community, aiming to empower young individuals towards independence and a high quality of life.
