Registered Manager - Children's Residential Home

Are you an experienced Registered Manager or an ambitious Deputy Manager ready to take the next step in your career?

We are recruiting on behalf of a well-established children's residential provider seeking a passionate and dedicated Registered Manager to lead a children's home in Southport. This is an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of children and young people while leading a committed and supportive team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the day-to-day operations of the children's home, ensuring the highest standards of care.
  • Maintain compliance with Ofsted regulations, Children's Homes Regulations, and Quality Standards.
  • Promote positive outcomes for children and young people with a range of emotional and behavioural needs.
  • Manage, motivate, and develop a residential care team through effective leadership and supervision.
  • Ensure safeguarding procedures are followed and embedded throughout the service.
  • Monitor care plans, risk assessments, and placement outcomes.
  • Drive continuous improvement and contribute to the home's development and growth.

Requirements

  • Previous experience as a Registered Manager, Deputy Manager, or Children's Residential Manager.
  • Strong knowledge of Ofsted requirements and Children's Homes Regulations.
  • Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Residential Childcare (or working towards).
  • Proven leadership and team management experience.
  • Excellent communication, organisational, and problem-solving skills.
