If so, we'd love to welcome you into the Agincare family as the Registered Manager of our beautifully refurbished care home in Aylesbury.

The opportunity

No two days are the same-but every day you'll make a meaningful difference.

You'll lead your team to deliver a safe, caring, responsive and effective service, ensuring the highest standards for each resident who calls our home home.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Championing choice, dignity and person centred care for every resident
  • Reviewing and adapting care plans in partnership with residents, families, staff and professionals
  • Monitoring and auditing service quality - and acting swiftly on areas of improvement
  • Managing risk assessments and safeguarding practices to keep residents safe
  • Recruiting, inducting, mentoring and developing your team
  • Leading with confidence on HR matters, including performance and conduct
  • Ensuring effective staffing levels and robust contingency planning
  • Investigating safeguarding concerns, managing complaints, and ensuring full regulatory compliance, including duty of candour

About you

You're passionate, motivated and ready to lead. You bring experience, heart, and a commitment to delivering excellent care.

You'll need:

  • At least 12 months remaining on your Right to Work in the UK
  • QCF Level 4 in Health & Social Care (or equivalent)
  • A management qualification (QCF level 4) or willingness to work towards it
  • Previous registration in a residential service (preferable)
  • Strong knowledge of CQC regulations, compliance, and care home operations
  • Exceptional leadership, coaching, and people management skills
  • Experience supporting vulnerable adults
  • Full time availability (42 hours per week)

This is your opportunity to take ownership of a newly refurbished care home, shape the culture from the ground up, and build something truly exceptional for your residents, your team and your career.

Come and be part of the Agincare story - where you're valued, supported and celebrated for the difference you make.

All of our services are regulated by the CQC and Agincare is proud to be an equal opportunities employer and encourages applications from individuals of all backgrounds and experiences. At present, we are unable to offer visa sponsorship.
