At Deafblind UK, we re looking for a committed and values-driven Registered Manager to lead our Supported Living Services in Peterborough.
This is more than just a managerial role it s an opportunity to make a real, lasting difference to people who are deafblind or have complex needs. You ll bring together your operational leadership skills, passion for person-centred care and knowledge of regulatory frameworks to shape and deliver exceptional services that promote independence, dignity and quality of life.
What the role involves
As our Registered Manager, you ll lead from the front inspiring, supporting and developing a dedicated team of Care & Support Workers and Team Leaders to deliver truly personalised, high-quality care. You ll be responsible for ensuring our services not only meet but exceed CQC standards, building a culture of openness, continuous improvement and accountability throughout your team.
You ll play a key role in fostering strong relationships with the people we support, their families, healthcare professionals and commissioning bodies. Your leadership will help ensure that every individual receives the tailored support they need to thrive. From planning effective rotas and managing resources to maintaining robust records and handling budgets, you ll be at the centre of day-to-day service delivery always with a focus on safety, empowerment and person-centred outcomes.
This is a hands-on role where visibility matters. You ll be actively involved in solving problems, mentoring staff and driving positive change across the service. Flexibility is important including being available for early mornings, evenings, weekends and on-call responsibilities when needed because your leadership sets the tone for the whole team.
What we re looking for
We re looking for a resilient, forward-thinking leader who believes in inclusive, personalised care. You ll be someone who thrives on building strong teams and who leads by example with integrity, empathy and clarity.
To succeed in this role, you ll need proven experience of managing regulated services within a CQC framework, including overseeing care delivery, supervising staff, managing rotas and budgets and working collaboratively with families, professionals and commissioners. You should be confident in communication, highly organised and motivated to raise standards and innovate where needed.
A full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle is essential, as is a flexible approach to working hours.
