About the role

Westmorland and Furness Council is seeking a Registered Manager for our Short Breaks Home in Ulverston. This service provides essential short breaks for children and young people aged 8-18 with disabilities. You will lead an experienced team dedicated to delivering high-quality care and positive experiences.

Candidate requirements

  • Level 5 Diploma in Leadership for Health and Social Care (or equivalent)
  • Experience managing residential care services for children with disabilities
  • Understanding of regulatory frameworks and Ofsted compliance
  • Passion for inclusion, safeguarding, and empowering children
  • Ability to motivate staff and promote best practices
