Registered Manager - Nursing Home

The Role

As Registered Care Home Manager, you will have overall responsibility for the day-to-day management of the home, ensuring high-quality care is delivered in line with CQC standards and regulatory requirements. You'll lead the staff team, oversee operational performance, and create a positive environment where residents receive compassionate, safe, and effective care.

• Lead the day-to-day management of the care home.


• Ensure compliance with CQC regulations and all relevant legislation.


• Promote high-quality, person-centred care for all residents.


• Lead, motivate, and develop a multidisciplinary staff team.


• Oversee recruitment, staff supervision, appraisals, and performance management.


• Manage budgets, occupancy, and operational performance.


• Ensure effective medication management, clinical governance, and health & safety compliance.


• Build positive relationships with residents, families, healthcare professionals, and external agencies.


• Monitor quality assurance, audits, and continuous improvement initiatives.


• Maintain accurate records and ensure all regulatory requirements are met.

About You

We're looking for a compassionate and experienced leader with a strong clinical background. Essential Requirements

• Registered General Nurse (RGN) with an active NMC Pin.


• Previous experience as a Registered Care Home Manager or in a senior management role within a care home.


• Strong understanding of CQC regulations and adult social care legislation.


• Experience supporting individuals with learning disabilities, complex needs, or behaviours that may challenge.


• Excellent leadership, communication, and organisational skills.


• Ability to lead by example and build positive relationships with residents, families, and colleagues.


• Passion for delivering outstanding care and achieving excellent service outcomes.
