Job Description
Registered Manager - Children's Services

Location: Bolton
Salary: £51,500 - £61,500 per annum (dependent on skills and experience)
Working Hours: 40 hours per week

Service: Children's Home
Service Users: Children with Learning Disabilities and Mental Health needs
Qualifications Required:

  • NVQ Level 5 Leadership & Management for Residential Care (or willingness to work towards)
  • Minimum 2 years' experience managing an Ofsted-registered children's home
  • Experience supervising staff
  • Experience supporting children with learning disabilities
  • Employment Type: Permanent

Who we are looking for

We are looking for an experienced, passionate Registered Manager who can confidently lead a children's residential service and maintain the highest standards of care and safeguarding.

You will:

  • Use your leadership skills to run all aspects of the home
  • Drive quality, compliance and positive outcomes
  • Support a settled staff team
  • Build on an already successful and established service
  • Ensure high-quality, child-centred care

You must also demonstrate strong knowledge of:

  • Children's Regulations
  • The Quality Standards
  • Every Child Matters
  • Ofsted expectations and inspections

A Full UK Driving Licence and own transport is an advantage.
