  • Ratio of Staff to Children: 2:1

This is a small, nurturing solo placement home designed to offer stability, safety, and emotional development for one young person with EBD and trauma-related needs.

Who We Are Looking For

We're seeking a motivated Registered Manager who is passionate about making a difference in the lives of young people.

Or a Deputy Manager looking to step up.

You'll have a proven record of managing or deputising within Ofsted-regulated children's homes, with strong leadership skills and an understanding of trauma-informed practice.

Essential Requirements:

  • Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management (or willingness to work towards it)
  • Previous experience managing a team within an Ofsted-registered children's home
  • Sound knowledge of safeguarding, child protection, and Ofsted frameworks (SCCIF)
  • Strong leadership and team management skills
  • A valid Full UK Driving Licence and access to your own car

About the Role

As the Registered Manager, you will:

  • Hold overall responsibility for the day-to-day running of the home
  • Lead, develop, and inspire your team to deliver exceptional care
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant legislation, regulations, and organisational policies
  • Oversee admissions, care planning, and quality assurance
  • Maintain high standards of safeguarding and emotional wellbeing for each young person
  • Represent the service in meetings with professionals, commissioners, and Ofsted
