Job Description

We are seeking an experienced and qualified Registered Children's Home Manager to lead and manage our children's home in Shrewsbury. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations, ensuring high standards of care, and compliance with all regulations.

Responsibilities

• Manage the daily operations of the children's home, ensuring a safe and nurturing environment for all residents.
• Lead and supervise a team of dedicated staff, providing guidance, support, and training.
• Ensure compliance with all statutory requirements and company policies.
• Develop and implement care plans tailored to individual needs.
• Maintain effective communication with external agencies and stakeholders.
• Monitor and evaluate the performance of the home, implementing improvements where necessary.
• Budget management and ensuring financial efficiency.

Requirements

• Level 3 qualification in Residential Childcare.
• Level 5 qualification in Leadership and Management.
• Proven experience in managing a children's residential setting.
• Strong leadership and organizational skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• In-depth understanding of child protection and safeguarding practices.
