Location: Coalville

Salary: £50,000 - £55,000

3 Bed EBD Home

We are currently recruiting on behalf of our client for an experienced Children's Home Manager to lead a 3-bed residential children's home in Coalville supporting young people with emotional and behavioural difficulties (EBD).

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee the day-to-day management of the children's home
• Ensure the home operates in line with Ofsted regulations and Children's Homes Standards
• Lead, motivate, and develop a dedicated staff team
• Promote positive outcomes for young people through structured care planning
• Manage safeguarding procedures and risk assessments
• Work closely with local authorities and external professionals
• Maintain high standards of care, compliance, and record keeping

Requirements

• Level 5 Diploma in Leadership & Management for Residential Childcare (or working towards)
• Previous experience within children's residential care
• Experience as a Deputy Manager or Registered Manager
• Strong knowledge of Ofsted regulations and safeguarding practices
• Excellent leadership and organisational skills

Salary & Benefits

• £50,000 - £55,000 salary depending on experience
