Salary: £42,000 - £50,000, depending on experience

Job Description: We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Children's Home Manager to lead our 4-bed Emotional and Behavioral Difficulties (EBD) home in the picturesque civil parish of Leiston, Suffolk. As the Children's Home Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations, ensuring the highest standards of care and support for our young residents, and maintaining compliance with all relevant regulations and guidelines.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and support a team of care staff to deliver exceptional care tailored to the needs of children with EBD.
  • Develop and implement care plans that promote the well-being and development of each child.
  • Ensure the home meets all regulatory requirements and standards set by Ofsted.
  • Foster a safe, nurturing, and positive environment for both staff and children.
  • Liaise with external agencies, families, and stakeholders to support the children's needs.
  • Manage budgets effectively and report on financial performance.
Qualifications and Experience
  • Proven experience in a similar role within a children's residential setting.
  • Level 5 Diploma in Leadership for Health and Social Care and Children and Young People's Services or equivalent.
  • Strong understanding of EBD and therapeutic approaches.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
