Are you an experienced Care Home Manager and/or qualified nurse with leadership experience in a care home setting?

We are looking for a dedicated and experienced Care Home Manager to oversee a 16-bed nursing home, ensuring the highest standards of care while leading and inspiring a team of professionals, including a Clinical Lead and Senior Carers.
About the Role As the Care Home Manager, you will be responsible for the day-to-day running of the home, ensuring residents receive compassionate, person-centred nursing care.
You will lead a skilled team, promote best practices, and maintain full compliance with Care Inspectorate Wales (CIW) regulations.

Key Responsibilities- Use your nursing expertise to maintain exceptional care standards and ensure residents receive high quality, tailored support. Regulatory Compliance
- Ensure the home operates in full accordance with CIW regulations and best practices in elderly care. Team Development & Leadership
- Inspire, mentor, and empower your team, fostering a culture of professionalism, respect, and collaboration. Operational & Financial Management
- Oversee staffing, budgeting, resource allocation, and home maintenance to ensure smooth and efficient day to day operations. Resident & Family Engagement
- Build strong relationships with residents and their families, ensuring open communication and a resident centred approach. Collaboration & Community Involvement
- Work closely with healthcare professionals, local organisations, and external stakeholders to promote the home's reputation and services.
QCF Level 5 in Leadership for Health & Social Care (or working towards) or/and Qualified Nurse (RGN/RMN) with active NMC registration.
Previous experience in a Care Home Manager role within a residential or nursing home setting.
Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and develop a high performing team.
Excellent knowledge of CIW regulations, care planning, and best practices in elderly care.
Compassionate and resident focused approach to care.
Outstanding communication and problem solving skills to handle challenges effectively.
