Regional Quality Assurance Lead - Data Centre - Europe

I am currently recruiting a Regional Quality Assurance Lead for a tier one international General Contractor working across a large portfolio of data centres in the UK and Mainland Europe. This is a regional role with the successful candidate overseeing all QA/QC matters for a division and be the direct report for QA Project Leads, reportable to the Ops Director.

In terms of experience, someone coming from a data centre background is advantageous however not a necessity. Project delivery ability, proven track record, knowledge of CSA and M&E packages experience is key. You will be working for a market leading contractor that operates a diverse business model and demands modern health and safety and employee engagement practises.

Salary is very much dependant on experience, but there is flexibility for high performers who have successfully delivered large commercial projects in the past. On top of a competitive salary you will also receive flights, accommodation, travel, subsistence allowance, pension and healthcare.

QA/QC Lead Responsibilities:

• Management, implementation, and maintenance of company QA/QC standards
• Develop quality plans, manuals, documents, and systems.
• Work with our Client to ensure that their Quality standards & procedures are successfully submitted, approved & implemented against agreed timelines.
• Completion of Audits.
• Advise Management on QA issues.
• Ensure that all documentation and certification is complete and checked prior to final handover.
• Attend and co-ordinate weekly meetings with the client, subcontractors & suppliers.
• Oversee Document Control functions
• Reporting and ensuring that the current QA/QC procedures used on projects are standardized and integrated into the Company manual
• Overall control of QA across the Business Unit

QA/QC Lead Requirements for the role:

• A relevant Third Level or Professional Qualification
• Ability to work well under pressure and within strict deadlines.
• Mission Critical Experience essential
• Ability to produce quality written reports.
• Possess strong client facing attributes
• Proficient in the use of MS Excel, MS Word, and MS PowerPoint.
• Strong knowledge of CSA and MEP packages
