Regional Change Manager (UK/Europe)

We are seeking an experienced project and change management professional to lead the successful delivery of operational and strategic initiatives across our final mile 2-person delivery business in the UK & Europe. This is a new role created to help take the business forward towards the 2030's. As a key member of the leadership team, you will oversee a small team of project managers, ensuring that all projects-from depot launches to technology rollouts-are delivered on time, on budget, and to the highest standards.
This is a hands-on leadership role, ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, customer-focused logistics environment, and can balance strategic oversight with operational execution.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the Change Team across the business, developing best practices, governance frameworks, and standardised reporting.
- Prioritise and resource manage the projects
- Oversee the delivery of a wide range of projects including new depot launches, route optimisation rollouts, system integrations (TMS/WMS), and customer onboarding initiatives.
- Collaborate with operational, IT, commercial, and customer service teams to ensure project alignment with service-level and performance objectives.
- Manage, mentor, and develop a team of project managers, ensuring high standards in project delivery.
- Identify and manage project risks, dependencies, and resource requirements, ensuring effective mitigation strategies are in place.
- Monitor project performance through KPIs and dashboards; ensure continuous improvement in delivery outcomes.
- Serve as the escalation point for major project issues and stakeholder alignment.
- Report regularly to senior management on project status, risks, benefits, and return on investment.
- Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and operational excellence.
Required Skills & Experience
- Minimum 5+ years of project management experience, with 2+ years in a leadership or PMO role.
- Strong leadership skills to guide and motivate project teams built from individuals from across the business, and experience in managing and developing project management / change teams.
- Proven success delivering projects in logistics, transport, or last-mile delivery environments, preferably 2-person home delivery or white-glove services.
- Solid understanding of final mile operations, including scheduling, customer experience, and third-party contractor networks.
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills, with experience engaging across departments and external partners.
- Experience working with delivery technologies (e.g., TMS, WMS, routing systems, customer apps).
- Excellent problem-solving and organisational skills; confident managing multiple workstreams simultaneously.
- Proficient in project management software (e.g., Microsoft Project, Smartsheet, Asana, Trello).
- Knowledge of both agile and waterfall methodologies.
