Regional Bus Finance Business Partner

You will be an accounts-minded, analytically focused hands-on finance professional with the drive to improve financial performance and challenge the status quo. You will drive effective financial planning, analysis, and insight to improve and influence strategic decision-making. The ability to work well under pressure, as well as the ability to be adaptable, are both essential skills for this role, due to the varied nature of tasks.

The role requires regular travel to depots and office locations across the region.

• Acts as a bridge between the finance department and other business units, providing financial insights, analysis, and strategic guidance to support decision-making and drive performance.
• Works with key stakeholders to complete budgets, forecasts, latest views, and weekly estimates. Delivers accurate results, understands variance analysis reports, and produces variance analysis reports.
• Must be experienced in meeting deadlines and working under pressure on multiple priorities.
• Maintains a KPI-driven focus, linking KPI performance to financial delivery. Helps analyze KPI performance, identifies trends, and generates ideas to drive improved performance. Possesses problem-solving skills.
• Ensures revenue and costs are allocated and released accurately to the P&L, driving an improved way of working with the shared service function.
• Involves building/supporting business cases with the region and depots alongside project sponsors and leadership teams, providing insights and financial challenge.
• Demonstrates strong financial modelling skills to cover various business requirements.
• Provides financial and analytical support to the Regional Franchising team.
• Supports Site Managers to improve understanding of financial performance and helps drive efficiency.
• Works alongside peers to drive standardization and best practices across the regional business.

• Qualified accountant or qualified through experience with experience in delivering financial planning, analysis, insight, and control.
• Strong business and commercial acumen with a proven track record of collaborating with business stakeholders to provide insights supporting decisions.
• Analytical approach and strong problem-solving skills.
• Attention to detail and a mindset of continuous improvement.
• Strong focus on delivery within tight deadlines, including coordinating a wide array of stakeholders.
• Practical experience working in a pressurized team environment with the ability to prioritize effectively.
• Good interpersonal and influencing skills at all organizational levels.
