Refrigeration Engineer
Stoke on Trent / Remote
Are you a skilled Refrigeration Engineer ready to power unforgettable events across the UK?
Were recruiting for an F-Gas and NVQ Level 2/3 qualified Engineer to install, commission, and maintain cutting-edge refrigeration systems for high-profile festivals, sporting events, and corporate functions.
This role involves regular travel to our customers event sites for the duration of the event and ensuring flawless cooling solutions for them, when not deployed youll be based in Stoke, keeping our rental fleet in top shape for the next deployment!

What Youll Do:
Installing , commissioning , and de-installing temporary refrigeration systems and chillers at event sites, events peak June September but are year round.
Servicing and maintaining our rental stock at our Stoke facility when not deployed on a customers site, ensuring equipment is in top condition for hire.
Troubleshooting and diagnosing system issues to ensure optimal performance and safety.
Collaborating with clients and colleagues to deliver exceptional service, adhering to safety standards and RAMS guidelines.
Maintaining detailed records of installations, repairs, and safety inspections.
This is a seasonal role reflecting the event industry's demands:
Peak Season (JuneSeptember) : Youll be deployed on-site at event sites across the UK, Europe and worldwide, staying on-site for the duration of the event to ensure services levels to our customers.
Flexibility for travel and overnight stays is essential.
Low Season (OctoberJune) : Youll be based in Stoke, focusing on maintenance and repairing our rental stock to prepare for the next season.
What Were Looking For:
Essential :
F-Gas certification
NVQ Level 2/3 in Refrigeration or equivalent
IPAF and CSCS Card
Experience in servicing and maintenance of chillers and installing split systems
Strong communication, teamwork, and customer service skills
Commitment to safety regulations (ISO 9001:2015, ISO 45001, ISO 14001:2015)
Desirable :
Electrical knowledge (18th Edition)
Boiler knowledge
