Refrigeration Engineer / Mechanic

Job Overview:

We are seeking a skilled Refrigeration Engineer / Mechanic to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for inspecting, repairing, and maintaining diesel engines and refrigeration units. If you have a passion for working with heavy machinery and possess strong mechanical skills, we want to hear from you.

Duties:

- Diagnose and repair refrigeration system, diesel engines, including electrical systems
- Perform routine maintenance on refrigeration unit, diesel vehicles and equipment
- Use hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment to complete repairs
- Read and interpret schematics to troubleshoot issues
- Fabricate and assemble parts as needed
- Conduct equipment repairs in a timely and efficient manner
- Operate forklifts and other machinery as required

Qualifications:

- Proven experience as an Refrigeration Engineer / Mechanic or similar role
- Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment
- Ability to read and understand electrical schematics
- Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills
- Experience with equipment repair and maintenance
- Forklift operation experience is a plus
- Ability to dig into complex mechanical issues
