The successful candidate will play a key role in welcoming and supporting people who are exploring fostering, offering clear guidance, reassurance and a friendly first point of contact throughout their initial journey.

They will manage all fostering enquiries with professionalism and warmth, from processing new contacts to completing home and initial visits, ensuring every potential foster carer feels informed and valued. They will raise local awareness of fostering by coordinating and attending community events, sharing real stories and explaining processes in a straightforward, jargon free way.

They will follow established best practice to prepare applicants efficiently, maintain accurate records, and contribute to the ongoing retention of foster carers by building positive relationships and providing consistent support.
