Recruitment BU Leader

Contingency Workforce Management (CWF)

Permanent Full-time Galway (Office-based)

Step into a Leadership Role that shapes one of ICE Group's strongest teams. This is a standout opportunity to lead from the front in one of ICE Group's most successful and strategic business units. As Recruitment BU Leader, you'll play a pivotal role in driving delivery for key national clients while developing, motivating and empowering a high performing recruitment team.

You'll have real ownership of people, performance and process with the support and trust to make the role your own. This is an ideal next step for a senior recruiter or team lead who wants to broaden their impact, influence outcomes, and grow as a people leader within ICE Group.

Based in our Galway office, you will lead recruitment delivery across high volume contingent workforce accounts, while building a culture that champions accountability, collaboration and continuous improvement. You'll balance hands on recruitment leadership with strategic planning, mentoring and stakeholder engagement, ensuring consistent, high quality fulfilment for our clients and a positive, engaging environment for your team.

What You'll Be Responsible For
  • Lead end to end recruitment delivery across multiple national clients, managing sourcing, screening, interviews, offers and start management
  • Develop a strong, engaged recruitment team through daily coaching, mentoring, quality reviews and structured skills development
  • Own performance and outcomes, running pipeline reviews, setting clear activity and conversion targets, and tracking KPIs such as time to fill, fulfilment, compliance and retention
  • Partner closely with clients and internal stakeholders to forecast demand, agree recruitment plans and proactively manage risks
  • Champion compliance and onboarding excellence, ensuring right to work checks, documentation and start readiness are completed accurately and on time
  • Continuously improve how we recruit, refining sourcing strategies, templates and workflows while promoting best practice and consistent ATS/ISO processes
  • Build for the future, supporting hiring into your own team, identifying capability gaps and creating development pathways that retain and progress talent
  • Represent CWF with confidence, contributing to client meetings and workforce planning discussions with practical, solutions focused insight
What You'll Bring
  • A degree in HR, Business, Recruitment or a related discipline
  • 3-4 years' experience in recruitment, ideally within high volume, onsite, industrial or contingent workforce environments
  • Experience coaching, mentoring or supporting others' development (formal people management experience welcomed but not essential)
  • Strong knowledge of Irish employment standards and candidate compliance
  • A confident communicator who builds trust with clients, candidates and colleagues
  • A structured, process driven approach with the ability to prioritise and motivate in a fast paced, target led environment
  • Comfort using ATS/CRM systems and recruitment reporting (JobAdder experience is a bonus)
Why This Role at ICE Group?
  • Lead one of ICE Group's top performing and most impactful teams
  • Work closely with industry leading manufacturing and logistics clients, seeing the tangible impact of your work
  • Clear career progression and leadership development within a growing organisation
  • 4 day working week available following successful completion of probation
  • Company pension scheme and incremental annual leave
