Immediate Start - 4-6 Week Temporary Assignment - 15 Hours per Week - Tuesday to Thursday - Stevenage

An immediate temporary opportunity has arisen for an experienced Recruitment Assistant to join a lovely, well-established Stevenage-based organisation during a particularly busy recruitment period.

Working 5 hours per day, Tuesday to Thursday, this Recruitment Assistant position is initially for 4-6 weeks and will focus predominantly on contacting applicants and conducting initial telephone screening calls. Previous recruitment experience is essential, as you'll need to quickly understand vacancy requirements, confidently assess candidates and hit the ground running with minimal supervision.

Recruitment Assistant - Job Overview

Recruitment Assistant - Skills & Experience Required
  • Previous recruitment experience is essential
  • Experience conducting candidate screening calls or telephone interviews
  • Confident, personable and professional telephone manner
  • Strong questioning and listening skills with the ability to assess candidate suitability
  • Comfortable managing a high volume of candidate calls
  • Excellent attention to detail and accurate note-taking skills
  • Strong organisation and ability to manage multiple applications
  • Confident using recruitment systems, databases and Microsoft Office
  • Able to quickly understand different roles and candidate requirements
  • Available to start immediately and commit to the initial 4-6 week assignment
