As aRecruitment Advisor, you'll play a key part inhelping us hire the people who keep our telecoms projects moving. You'll manageend to end hiring for field, technical, project and support roles, ensuring asmooth, efficient process and a great candidate experience.
Day to day you'll source, screen, coordinate interviews andwork closely with hiring managers and the People team to meet fast pacedrecruitment needs. You'll also help build talent pipelines, keep systemsupdated and support wider hiring activity.
The role includes occasional ad hoc travel across theMidlands and the North.
What You'll Do- Source candidatesthrough job boards, LinkedIn, databases, referrals, and direct outreach.
- Build talent pools andrepresent the business at local and early talent events.
- Advise hiring managerson processes, timelines, market insights, and effective interviewing.
- Ensure all recruitmentactivity follows legislation, internal policies, and client requirements.
- Support onboarding bycoordinating start dates and necessary documentation.
- Report on keyrecruitment metrics and share insights to improve processes.
- Support employer brandinitiatives and help deliver a great candidate experience.
- Carry out basic marketbenchmarking and ensure roles align with the career framework.
- Promote the use ofdigital and AI tools to improve efficiency.
- Build strongrelationships with stakeholders and act as a reliable point of contact.
- Collaborate with HR andother teams to share insights and ensure consistent practices.
Who we are looking for
- Strong communicator withexcellent rapport building, customer service, and influencing skills.
- Highly organised, ableto manage multiple roles in a fast paced, changing environment.
- Confident ininterviewing, screening, and making informed hiring decisions.
- Skilled in using ATSsystems, job boards, sourcing tools, and recruitment reporting.
- Experience deliveringend to end recruitment, ideally in high volume or technical sectors.
- Background in telecoms,utilities, engineering, or construction recruitment is advantageous.
- Understanding oftechnical roles (e.g., Fibre Engineers, Cablers, Civils Operatives,Supervisors, Planners).
- Comfortable supportingoperational teams across multiple sites and regions.
