Location: Hamilton Water Palace, 35 Almada Street, Hamilton
Hours: 37 hours per week (4 week rota)
Salary Band: £27,240 £27,529 per year
Shift Pattern:
- Week 1: Mon Wed late shift, Sat/Sun day shift
- Week 2: Tue - Fri late shift
- Week 3: Mon & Thu early shift, Tue, Wed, Fri, Sat day shift
- Week 4: Tue early shift, Wed - Fri day shift
Example shifts: Early shift 6:15 am - 3 pm, Day shift 9 am - 6 pm, Late shift 1 pm - 10:30 pm
Duration: Fixed Term until 31 December 2026
Job Profile: South Lanarkshire Leisure and Culture are looking for an enthusiastic individual to join our team of Lifeguards at Hamilton Water Palace. You will be responsible to the Duty Officer for the daily operation of the Centre, undertaking a range of duties including pool supervision and cleaning.
Qualifications- A current Pool Lifeguard qualification is essential, with a first aid certificate and previous experience desirable.
- Supervision of pool activities
- Carry out cleaning to meet defined standards
- Ensure facilities and equipment are safe and secure in accordance with procedures
