Recreation Assistant

This is an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic and passionate individual with a background in sport and leisure to join the Sports Facilities Team at Solent University, based at Test Park. The successful candidate will play a key role in delivering high-quality sports and leisure services, supporting a wide range of activities and helping to provide an excellent experience for students, staff, and external users.

The role will involve a combination of front-of-house responsibilities, outdoor grounds support, and the setup of sports facilities, with a strong focus on delivering excellent customer service. The successful candidate will play an important role in supporting the delivery of a wide range of outdoor sporting activities and ensuring that facilities are maintained to a high standard.

The successful candidate will be required to work flexibly on a shift rota across the University's sports facilities, with the role being predominantly based at Test Park Sports Facility. This will include supporting daily operations, event delivery, and facility preparation to provide an outstanding experience for all users.
