Recovery Worker

As a Recovery Worker you will be providing support and advice to people who are experiencing difficulties due to substance misuse. Our Recovery Workers play a vital role in supporting clients to identify their goals, ambitions, and passions. You'll work with them to create the best treatment plan for their needs and guide them on their path to recovery.
This is a frontline role at WithYou, where you will provide continuity of care through effective partnership working, care coordination, key work responsibilities, and intervention delivery. You will manage an active caseload, connecting quickly with clients and ensuring they are treated with respect and dignity.
This is a full time permanent role, working 37.5 hours per week, including some Saturday work on a rota basis. The starting salary is £26,250 per annum, rising each year in line with our pay progression salary bands up to £30,900 per annum. - Offer continuity of care through partnership working and care coordination.
- Manage an active caseload and respond quickly to client needs.
- Treat all clients with respect and dignity.
- Work within a highly skilled multidisciplinary team to deliver high quality care.
- Compassionate and motivated with exceptional ability to build meaningful relationships.
- Demonstrated experience working within health, social care, criminal justice or other specialist settings, or a clear motivation for working in the drug and alcohol sector.
- Successful track record providing efficient, reliable customer service.
- Highly organised with excellent communication skills and effective time management.
- Ability to carry out comprehensive assessments, assess risk, devise care plans, and deliver evidence based interventions.
- Positive and engaging approach to clients and key stakeholders.
