At Woodview Medical Centre, we are looking for two enthusiastic and reliable care navigator to join our friendly, patient-focused team on a full time basis. Applicants must be flexible to work shifts between 8:00am and 6:30pm on a rota basis and participate in occasional Saturday morning shifts where required to support the smooth running of the practice.
Main duties of the jobAs one of the GP surgeries with the highest patient satisfaction ratings and Google review scores in Northamptonshire, we pride ourselves on delivering outstanding care and excellent service to our patients. This is an exciting opportunity to become part of a forward-thinking practice that genuinely values both its patients and staff. You will play a key role in the day-to-day running of the practice, supporting patients both face-to-face and over the telephone.
No previous GP or NHS experience? Thats absolutely fine full training will be provided for the right candidate with the right attitude.

Job responsibilitiesDuties will include:
- Care navigating and signposting patients to the most appropriate clinician or service
- Answering and directing telephone calls
- Booking, amending, and cancelling appointments
- Responding to patient enquiries professionally and sensitively
- Taking payments for private services and issuing receipts
- Carrying out a range of administrative and reception duties
- Managing emails, scanning documents, and updating patient records
- Supporting the smooth and efficient running of reception and waiting areas
- Experience working with the general public
- Previous administrative or receptionist experience
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Clear and professional telephone manner
- Strong IT and administrative skills
- Ability to remain calm under pressure
- A positive, flexible, and team-focused attitude
- Good organisational and time management skills
- Ability to work independently and follow procedures accurately
- Empathetic and sensitive approach when supporting patients
- Experience working within a healthcare setting
- Knowledge of SystmOne
- GCSEs (or equivalent) in English and maths
- NVQ Level 2 in Health & Social Care or AMSPAR qualification
