Location: Bridlington (East Riding of Yorkshire) (YO16 4NG)
Additional information:
- Office-based role, 37 hours per week (core hours include regular unsocial hours, such as evenings and/or weekends, based on business need)
- Pay rate: £12.71 per hour;
external vetting will be completed by the client (and you'll be subject to security and identity checks)

Our Client is hiring for a reputed organisation where you'll be the first point of contact for visitors and telephone callers, while delivering essential reception and administrative support that helps services run smoothly.
What you'll be doing:- Acting as the first point of contact-greeting visitors professionally (face-to-face), answering enquiries by telephone and email, and issuing visitor passes/security fobs as required
- Logging arrivals/departures and ensuring the correct member of staff is notified
- Using tact and situational awareness to help diffuse potentially tense situations, recognising where extra support is needed
- Identifying safeguarding/risk concerns through observation and taking appropriate remedial actions
- Handling reception-related logistics for the building, including mail, stationery and PPE orders, meeting room set-up, deliveries and bookings (hot desk/car parking/rooms)
- Supporting day-to-day petty cash and travel warrant/bus fare arrangements
- Contributing to health & safety and security, including key-holder duties, operating physical security arrangements, supporting alarm testing, monitoring CCTV, and assisting evacuation measures where necessary
- Logging building faults/incidents and escalating maintenance/repair issues appropriately
- Providing confidential administrative support to operational teams when required, including filing, updating records, producing documentation, and scanning/archiving sensitive information
- Supporting teams/functions and covering during absence (training will be provided)
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with confidence handling a variety of enquiries
- Strong ICT capability with proven proficiency across Microsoft Office applications
- A professional, empathetic approach-able to remain composed and supportive, including during challenging situations
- Confidence working with sensitive/confidential information and following policies and procedures
