Job Description

Cheval Collection is currently recruiting a Receptionist to join our luxury serviced apartments at Cheval Knightsbridge.

At Cheval Knightsbridge our apartments are situated in various locations around the Knightsbridge village. Our apartments at Cheval Knightsbridge are full of character, each mews house, townhouse, apartment or cottage boasts its own personality and style of décor. Accommodation can be booked for any length of stay, and all apartments have fully equipped kitchens. At check-in all guests will be escorted to their apartment by a member of our team.

As Receptionist, you are responsible for the arrival and departure experience of each guest including apartment induction, handling enquires and complaints, collecting payments, generating bills, as well as providing advice, information and a response to all guest queries during their stay. In addition, the front office team are responsible for overseeing the security and safety of the building. You will be suited to this role if you enjoy multiskilling and are prepared to deal with all aspects of Front of House duties from the guest's pre arrival right through to their departure including administration. (please note that due to the locations of our apartments, you will be required to offer the services of transporting luggage to and from reception).

You will be ideal for this role if you are confident and a responsible individual that is content working alone. Your prime responsibilities will be to ensure the safety and security of our guests whilst offering excellent guest service at all times.

  • Have experience in a front of house operation in a luxury service environment
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Ability to perform manual handling tasks
  • IT skills in Word, Excel, Outlook, Internet and knowledge of a PMS
  • Good written and spoken level of English Good communication skills
  • Take pride in what you do
  • Have a friendly, professional and warm manner
  • Can build excellent relationships with guests
  • Have a good knowledge of London
