Receptionist

Salary: £12.71 per hour (OTE £13.91 per hour including tronc)

Hours: 35 hours per week, over 5 days

Location: THE PIG, near Bath, Pensford, BS39 4NSS

Job Summary

We are currently looking for a customer focused Receptionist to join our front of house team. The front desk at THE PIG is essentially the hub of the hotel, being the first and last face our restaurant and hotel guests see. First impressions are everything and we want our guests to have the best first impression possible.

Key Responsibilities

• Act as the first point of contact for hotel guests, providing excellent customer service.
• Answer incoming calls and respond to emails promptly.
• Maintain constant communication with all departments in the hotel.
• Maintain the front desk environment and ensure it is welcoming.
• Assist guests with inquiries and reservations.
• Support hotel operations and coordinate with housekeeping, front desk, and F&B teams.

Qualifications

• Experience within a similar role or a passion for hospitality.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Attention to detail and high service standards.
• Knowledge of Opera Fidelio a benefit (full training provided).
• Ability to work in a multi tasking environment.
