Join the team at The Millennium Hotel London Knightsbridge, a 4-star property located in Knightsbridge, as an experienced Receptionist. The purpose of this role is to assist in the daily running of the Front Office department, ensuring that all M&C procedures and targets are met.
Key Responsibilities- Manage day operations by checking arrivals and departures reservations, missing bookings, payments, and any rate discrepancies.
- Welcome guests warmly and provide a professional check-in and check-out experience.
- Take initiative in accommodating the customers' needs in a resourceful manner.
- Be proactive in the learning and development of administrative tasks, procedures, processes and standards and ensure correct practice.
- Be the first point of contact for all guests.
- Deal with guest queries and complaints.
- Upsell hotel services.
- Coordinate with Housekeeping, Maintenance, and other departments to ensure guest satisfaction.
- Answer the telephone and address any enquiries.
- Opera Cloud / Opera experience
- Previous experience in a hotel reception or customer service role.
- Ability to multitask.
- Well presented, professional, and customer oriented.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work flexible shifts, including evenings, weekends, and public holidays.
- Calm under pressure.
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
- Motivate and collaborate effectively with your colleagues in the hotel.
- Friendly and approachable.
